Gaming connects people across the world like nothing else can! All sorts of people from all sorts of places across the world can all connect at the exact same time through the connection of a server. Gaming lets anyone from any part of the world join together with thousands of people they would have never met as they step into one of many fantastical worlds together. In the spirit of connecting people, Caleb and Aiden are here to recommend their top three favorite games.

Caleb’s Picks:

Monster Prom:

Monster Prom

Monster Prom, developed by Beautiful Glitch, is a comedic visual novel riffing off of the tropes of teenage heartthrob movies. You are a new transfer to the prestigious monster school Spooky Academy. Very quickly you find that the problem of being at a new school is replaced by the much larger problem of finding a date to the upcoming monster prom. The dating simulator hosts a cast of unforgettable characters from Scott Howl, the werewolf jock to Polly Geist, the spirit loving spirit. The game is expertly written to create unforgettable memories with its cast of varied and wonderfully drawn characters and make you laugh through its hilarious dialogue. The biggest fright one could have at the monster prom is not checking this game out!

Inscryption:

Inscryption

Inscryption is a game created by talented developer Daniel Mullens. The game is a mind-blowing roguelike deck-builder experience. This lane based card game not only hosts a wonderfully addicting gameplay loop, but also a deep story full of suspense and horror. Mastering the mechanics of this card game is fulfilling and rewarding, providing a sense of pride each and every time you are able to conquer the challenges put in your way of escaping the cabin you find yourself waking up in over and over again. Hurry up and play and beat this wonderful deck-builder, lest you find a card inside that looks awfully similar to yourself.

Lunacid:

Lunacid

KIRA LLC’s Lunacid is one of the most rewarding and captivating adventure games ever developed. Upon being simply dropped into the world you are given nothing but a tunnel to guide what direction you should be moving in. Discovering the mechanics and world all by yourself with no big guide or hints to lead you there makes Lunacid one of the most rewarding adventure games on the market, alongside the wonderful lore of the world discoverable through the many readable books found throughout your adventure.

Aidens Picks

Spider-Man ps4:

Spider-Man

Insomniac’s Spider-Man (2018) is the best superhero video game. From the combat mechanics to the swinging, this game really does make you feel like Spider-Man. With iconic characters, a good storyline, and a beautiful New York City to swing through, Spider-Man 2018 is my favorite video game of all time. You’ll catch yourself stopping a bank robbery on the way to Aunt May’s and fitting in time to stop a car chase before going to your day job with Doctor Octavious, this game really does make you feel like Spider-Man. This Spider-Man is also one of the best iterations of the character ever made, combining the best aspects from the movies and comics. If you haven’t played this game and you’re a fan of Spider-Man I highly recommend you do so ASAP.

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima

Ghost of Tsushima, developed by Sucker Punch, transports you to the Japanese island of Tsushima during the first Mongol invasion. You are Jin Sakai, a Samurai, fighting to drive out the unhonorable Mongols that have taken over your home. While your skills as a Samurai are great, they prove to not be enough to rid the island of the invaders alone. Jin is torn between fighting with honor and dying like his neighbors, or donning the unhonorable tactics of The Ghost to destroy his enemies from the shadows. This game is great, with stunning visuals of the beautiful island of Tsushima to the awesome combat mechanics of both a samurai and ninja, you must play Ghost of Tsushima.

Halo Reach

Halo Reach

“That lone wolf stuff stays behind”, in Halo Reach you are a member of the elite spartan task force, Noble Team. You are Noble Six, the rookie, on the mission to eradicate the invading Covenant forces from the planet of Reach. This game is one of my favorites and will always have a special place in my heart. The campaign is epic and makes you feel connected with the rest of Noble Team. The forge mode is alot of fun too, letting you have full control over a battlefield where you and your friends can spawn in tanks, guns, and alien aircraft.
