If you’re studying at the University, you understand how crucial dining dollars are among students. The best part of starting a new semester is more dining dollars! The $350 the University supplies you with equals to about $20 a week, which is enough to try about two of these places every week. Anytime you don’t have the funds to go out to an expensive restaurant or to the grocery store, refer to this list of our favorite places to redeem dining dollars for all different kinds of cuisine.

- This New Orleans-based coffee shop is located right on the strip, and they offer tons of varieties of hot and iced coffee.
Rita’s Italian Ice
- Rita’s is the perfect place whenever you want a refreshing, cold snack.
UPerk
- This adorable coffee shop downtown is a great place to study and sip on coffee.

Buffalo Phil’s
- We love their wings and buffalo chicken dip! Get a Philibuster if you’ve never had one and keep the cup for the memories.
Glory Bound
- This is the perfect place to go with a group of friends on a nice, sunny day. They have excellent drinks, gyros, fries and more.
Mediterranean Sandwich Co.
- Located right next to Insomnia Cookies, this new establishment is great for a quick meal. They have delicious gyros, orzo, and flatbreads.
La Mexicana
- If we see this food truck on campus, we immediately run to it! They have amazing fresh tacos, burritos, and guacamole.
Twelve 25
- Next time you find yourself on the Strip, stop by Twelve 25 for some delicious truffle fries or wings.
Swen
- If you want something slightly more upscale than Panda Express in the Ferg, stop by Swen. The Chinese restaurant has all of our favorite dishes.
Newk’s
- This local chain restaurant has great options for soups, sandwiches, salads and pizza.
Subway
Wendy’s
Pyro’s
- This restaurant serves fresh pizza on McFarland Blvd.
VooDoo Wing Co.
