The Bountiful Harvest of CapitalismÂ
Thanksgiving day you’ll find me clasping hands with my family speaking nothing but gratitude. But what am I most thankful for this year? Black Friday Beauty finds.Â
Black Friday truly brings out the worst and the best in America.
The super-deals allow for great Christmas list shopping, but also crazy brawls over the last Xbox in the store. I typically do my shopping from home and watch the shenanigans on Twitter.Â
With that said, internet shopping has allowed for a whole other market of those who are too lazy to wake up for 4 am sales to still have the opportunity to shop from their own home. So where do you shop for the cutest beauty and fashion finds? You can borrow my list!
Black Friday beauty! I will immediately be hitting up Ulta and Sephora sales, and they are typically great year in and year out. Thursday through Saturday, Ulta drops sales on their top-selling items for a whopping 50% off. Fan favorites, brands with rich lovely reviews. Stocking stuffers are $5, Gift sets usually drop, designer perfumes, and everything you may need.
My list for Ulta revolves around DryBar, Living Proof, IGK, Versace Bright Crystal perfume, and Two Faced.
Sephora has already given a sneak peek at what Black Friday Beauty will hold, with some deals on top brands of skincare haircare, and makeup. Right now you can find It cosmetics eye cream on sale, smart facial cleansing devices, as well as Fenty foundation.Â
Typically, these deals only get better as the clock ticks. I put these top picks in my loves, so I can check in when they continue to drop.
How about the Dyson Airwrap?
I know everyone is salivating to see if that beautiful $599 hair styler hits a sale. Is Ulta or Sephora gonna drop it? Probably not. But Best Buy is your best bet. Most people forget they sell them there, and their black Friday promos are typically incredible. Just keep watching and have your card autosaved on the site.Â
What about black Friday fashion?!
I began my shopping early. Nordstroms rack, clear the rack sales to allow for a 40% discount on already discounted products. What are we looking for? The cutest shoes ever! With the Windsor Smith boots dominating footwear trends, Steve Madden also makes for a great substitute with a shorter platform. I bought some 50% off when browsing the Rack! Nordstroms in general has pre-holiday deals, with items such as certain styles of Gucci sunglasses and Valentino bags being half off.
Free People! Wonderful sales year after year, typically excellent quality. Free People has pre-released a few sales, making us think something big is coming. Other notable stores include Urban Outfitters and Anthropologie. Once more, I already have my urban cart full of items that I watch like a Hawk. Black Friday will be your best chance to snag that pink Nirvana pullover on sale.
Athletics! Lululemon, of course, has already started pre-deals. They have discounted up to 60% off certain pants, tops, and sports bras. Experts estimate these deals will continue to grow in size. Nike has wowed me time and time again with black Friday, and I will be purchasing another pair of air max 97s.
For the trends, Dolls Kill, Edited, h&m, and Princess Polly are all expected to have 30% off normal pricing, at least. Some have already begun pre-holiday deals, but it is the perfect time to buy the corset tops, cargo, and jackets already sitting in my cart.
Skims for the win, as VS usually does a decent sale, Skims is expected to do twice as well. Last year, our dear Kim marked down prices in half. Skims are the most heavenly softer than a baby’s butt material ever, and this will be a sale to take advantage of.
Abercrombie and Aerie will have amazing deals. Some have already started, but typically you can find sales up to 60% off, and off clearance as well. Sets for lounging, Leather pants, going-out tops, and cute jackets will be items to watch out for on these sites. At least for me!
Check into our Livestream Wednesday at 5 p.m. to hear more of our Black Friday Beauty watch list.
