Recently across the world there has been a lot of celebrity controversy and drama. First I think we have to touch on the Selena Gomez versus Hailey Bieber drama. Of course, to start with this drama is all fan-fueled with everything including Shady TikToks with Kylie Jenner to a short little social media break for Selena Gomez with rumors that she and Hailey Bieber have beef. Most recently they both posted on Instagram that they wanted the drama to stop. Here are all the key facts about the drama, so first the drama began on February 22nd when Selena posted a TikTok joking about how she had accidentally over laminated her eyebrows. Also, keep in mind that Selena Gomez dated Justin Bieber on and off between 2010 and 2018. Then hours later after Selena’s TikTok Haley Bieber, Justin Bieber’s wife posted a screenshot of herself on FaceTime with her best friend Kylie Jenner and the screenshot was a close-up of both their eyebrows. this was perceived as them making fun of Selena Gomez and personally, I think they were being mean girls and totally attacking Selena. Then a few days later Selena Gomez announced that she is taking a break from social media in a live TikTok she stated: “I’m 30 I’m too old for this”. I totally understand I felt like it was totally unnecessary for Haley Bieber and Kylie Jenner to even post that photo in the first place obviously Selena was making a TikTok laughing about her eyebrows and stating that she accidentally got them laminated too much. And I just don’t understand how and why Hailey and Kylie hair so much about Selena’s life. So of course after Selena announced her social media break the rumors of all the drama only grew from there. at one point Haley Bieber posted an Instagram story of a song that’s called calm down, and of course fans thought this was a dig at Gomez which I can also see because this is literally during all the drama so that was a little unnecessary like maybe if you really wanted to post this song at least wait a few week’s girl. During all this drama Selena has reached her best-streaming numbers in months and her cosmetic brand rare Beauty has been off the charts with production. Meanwhile, Hailey Bieber has lost Over a million followers during this drama. Selena Gomez has also gained more than 20 million Instagram followers since this drama began to come out. Selena took the lead of becoming the most-followed woman on Instagram with Kylie Jenner now in 2nd. A few weeks later Selena posted an Instagram story where Haley Bieber had told her she was now receiving death threats and Selena captioned it “I’ve always advocated for kindness and really want this all to stop.” Then after that post Hailey Bieber posted her own Instagram storytelling Selena thank you for saying something to social media about this debacle. Apparently, Haley said that the weeks of drama had been hard for everyone involved and then spoke about how people should be more thoughtful of what they post on to social media, which I think is a little ironic because she is the one that started everything with that little story of the eyebrows of her and Kylie. So now I’m going to go into some key background of Hailey Bieber, Selena Gomez, and Kylie Jenner. Hailey Bieber is an influencer and a model she is the daughter of actor Stephan Baldwin and niece of Alec Baldwin. The hashtag #teamselena is trending by 750 million views. The hashtag #teamhailey has 57 million. Each of Selena’s and Hailey’s Instagrams are flooded with comments about all this beef. That is the whole story, so we will see what will come in the future. I do feel like Hailey Bieber does give off mean girl vibes… but that is just my opinion.
On the topic of Selena Gomez, apparently Zayn Malik, former member of One Direction was recently spotted kissing Selena in New York City. So they must have a little something going in between them. Also couple right now that is the talk of the town is Harry Styles and Emily Ratajkowski. Harry Styles is a former One Direction member and Emily is a popular model. They have sparked romance rumors after being spotted smooching. I wonder if they are they a couple or just two people having some fun. My roommate is a die hard Harry Styles fan, and she can not stop talking about this kiss. She thinks it is just so crazy because apparently Harry Styles is never a big PDA person or just someone where their personal life is known to many. Since the video of them was leaked, not even a week ago the video has almost 9 million views. I think all I have to say is this couple really surprised me, but I am here for it. In more recent news do you guys remember Amanda Bynes. Well last week she was placed on Psychiatric hold after roaming the streets in Los Angeles naked. Amanda Bynes has been in many popular movies throughout her life some of those include She’s the man, Sydney White and What a girl wants. When I was younger I loved watching all the movies she stared in. She must have just gone down hill recently. She was placed on psychiatric hold after found on the streets naked, rumor is that she was seen alone and coming down from a psychotic episode at the moment. Then she herself called 911, typically this hold she was placed on typically only lasts 72 hours but in more recent news her hold has been extended for at least another week. It also appears that Amanda was living on the streets for several days before the 911 call. I am glad she is getting the help she needs.
