Favorite Hair Care Products

This week we are going to share with you our favorite hair products! Jay, Sydni, and I are here to fill you in on five of our favorite products we use to keep our hair healthy! 

Hair Oil 

Most hair oils come in the form of a lightweight serum made to provide a shiny, healthy coat. Great for dry hair, to tame frizz, and to add protein to the hair! The most common place to apply is the ends of the hair to prevent breakage and to bond split ends. With any hair oil, you will see immediate results and instant shine. I recommend adding an oil to the end of a styled look to add a sleek and healthy look! 

Heat Protectant  

With most heat styling tools heating up to 400 hundred degrees, I shouldn’t even have to explain why a heat protectant is so important! Most come in the form of spray made to create a lasting thermal shield to the hair’s bonds. Without a heat protectant, the hair being styled can easily break, cause dead ends, or fall off because of the intensity of heat being used to style. 

Deep Conditioner 

These are my favorite hair care products to splurge on! A deep conditioning mask can heal and nourish months’ worth of damage in one use. Consider is a conditioner that you leave in your hair for an extended period of time (some 10 minutes, 30 minutes, or even overnight ones) that leaves you with the softest results! I enjoy these because they’re a good excuse for some rest and relaxation time as you wait! 

Dry Shampoo 

Finally, every girl’s go-to product, dry shampoo! Dry shampoo is the most clutch hair product I can think of because even after days of hair, you can keep going! It applies to the hair in a powder-like white spray and soaks up the hair’s natural grease. The key is to spray it ahead of time to get the best results for the most oil to be absorbed. The most common area for it is the hair’s roots. Plus, it adds a pop of volume for a fresh touched up look! 

Damage Free Hair Ties 

Because what is the point of all these products if your hair isn’t safe when it is tied up? It is so important to have a secure style that doesn’t cause breakage. A great way to ensure this is with spiral hair ties. These provide a snag free and comfortable up do by locking the hairs in the spirals and not putting a tight pressure on any of the hairs. It also doesn’t leave crease when taken down!
