Hot girl halloween: What to do? Another Harley Quinn Costume?!

Halloween costumes are a great way to exhibit your fashion and makeup skills, amongst your creativity.

Costumes can be categorized into many different boxes but we will just list a few. 

Classic, overdone, pop culture, and creative.

Classics would be your hit girl costumes, bunnies, fireman or anything cheesy. You can always pull off classics, especially if you accessorize them. They are normative, usually career or animal based.

Pop Culture costumes will be like your movie costumes, music, and celebrities. Pop Culture costumes and niche costumes allows for more creativity.

Overdone costumes would indicate the purge looks. It’s gotta go. 

Any basic costume can be enhanced with makeup.

Gemstones, hair glitter, body glitter or eyelashes can transform your look. If you want a look with just makeup, do a skull! Be more creative, bedazzle it. A unicorn or any random costume can usually be done with makeup and a few accessories. 

For trends this year, we are seeing Elle Woods, Lola bunny, and a bunch of fairy tale based costumes. Villains and princesses are making up a huge portion. Austin Powers costumes we see as trending, along with the original Playboy costumes. Black Swan costumes are also trending. Anything Y2K is sure to be around.

For pop culture, circus based costumes for the Taylor Swift album, are circulating. We are also seeing the Blink 182- Enema of the State nurse being adored by many halloween costume planners. Top Gun costumes will be a hit this year. Pop Culture costumes will be your crowd pleasers. Talladega looks will be extremely popular as well. Carrie’s prom scene is trending.

No matter what costume you choose, its the details that matter. Fireman? Red Lipstick and blown out hair. Glitter everything, use hair tinsel and buy fun boots. If its cold, go for a fur jacket that matches the look. GoGo boots and cute shoes can completely transform your costume.
