First of all the Who: James Landino is a very accomplished video game composer who has worked on a lot of your favorite games. Some of his biggest clients have been Square Enix on both the kingdom hearts and final fantasy franchise.
What: well what is video games composing. It is very similar to composing live music but with the added benefit of more variety in the instrumentation and methods used. Often time it is used as background for more exciting action on screen however with James Landino a lot of the games that he works on are music based. Games like Osu and No Straight Roads are heavily reliant on their music and would not be the same experience without it.
