After surviving the craziness of finals week, Kate and I were definitely in need of some serious comfort food. We’d been buried in textbooks, stressing over exams, and barely sleeping, so it was time to reward ourselves with something delicious. What better way to celebrate the end of exams than a trip to our favorite fast food spot—Chick-fil-A? We both knew exactly what we were craving, and we were ready to dive into some seriously satisfying food.
Kate was in the mood for something fresh but still filling, so she went for the Cool Wrap. This wrap has sliced grilled chicken breast wrapped in a fresh mix of green leaf lettuce and a blend of Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses. All of this is wrapped up in a soft, flaxseed flour flatbread that’s made fresh daily. It’s light but still hearty enough to fill you up, and Kate loves that it doesn’t feel too heavy. To top it off, she got the Avocado Lime Ranch dressing, which gave the wrap a nice creamy and tangy flavor that tied everything together perfectly.
As for me, I kept it classic with the Chicken Sandwich with Pickles. Sometimes, you just can’t beat the simplicity of a perfectly crispy chicken breast, juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside, all tucked into a soft, buttery bun with a couple of tangy pickles. It’s comfort food at its finest, and it never disappoints. I also grabbed a side of Chick-fil-A fries—thin, crispy, and golden brown. These fries are always on point, whether you dip them in Chick-fil-A sauce or eat them plain. They’re the perfect side to any sandwich or wrap.
We both grabbed drinks to go with our meal. Kate went for a diet lemonade, which was refreshing and just the right balance of tart and sweet. I chose sweet tea, which was a little sweeter and just as refreshing. Both drinks went perfectly with our meals, and honestly, it was the perfect way to wind down after finals week.
All in all, it was the best way to treat ourselves after all that studying and stress. Chick-fil-A never lets us down!
After our Chick-fil-A feast, Kate and I decided to rate our meals to see how they really stacked up. For my classic chicken sandwich, I gave it a 1 for taste because it never disappoints. The chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside, just like I always want it. For presentation, I gave it a 1 as well because it was perfectly put together—no mess, just a classic sandwich that looked exactly how it should. For price vs. quality, I gave it a 2 because you can’t beat getting a full meal, including a sandwich, fries, and a drink, for about $12. And for smell, I gave it a 1 because as soon as I opened the wrapper, the smell of crispy chicken and soft bun was mouthwatering.
Kate’s cool wrap also got great ratings. She gave it a 1 for taste, saying it was the perfect lunch that filled her up without being too heavy. She really liked how the grilled chicken and fresh veggies worked well with the avocado lime ranch dressing. For presentation, she gave it a 1 because it was neatly wrapped with no mess, which she appreciated. For price vs. quality, she gave it a 2 because the meal, with the wrap, fries, and a drink for $14, was a great deal. Finally, for smell, she gave it a 3 since she didn’t really notice much of a smell, although it tasted really good.
Overall, we were both really happy with our meals. Chick-fil-A definitely came through for us after finals week, and whether you go for the classic chicken sandwich or the cool wrap, you’re getting a great meal. The prices are reasonable, the portions are satisfying, and the food is always delicious.
