Dorm room at-home workouts are all the rage for on-the-go college students. Luckily, YouTube has made it quite convenient for individuals to get a quick guided workout in. During the COVID-19 pandemic a bunch of creators hit Gen Z spot on with videos such as “Get abs in 2 weeks”. Our favorite creators for at-home workouts include Chloe Ting, and MadFit. Other creators include More with Nicole, Blogilates, Tone it Up and POPSUGAR Fitness.

All these channels can be easily found and enjoyed any time of day. The best thing about at home workouts is how easy they are to complete from the comfort of your own home, and you can even have friends join you to make the experience more enjoyable! These creators focus primarily on full body workouts with concentrations on abs and legs. YouTube makes it easy to find workouts that are just right for you if you are interested in mental health and a positive mentality our favorite is Ty Landrum.

We have decided to rate each creator’s workout, so you don’t have to!

  1. Chloe Ting

The effectiveness of Chloe Ting’s workouts will have you burning for days. Chloe’s workouts are primarily for women, but we know plenty of men who have felt the burn from her as well! Workouts are never longer than 40 minutes but normally are around 10-15 minutes. Chloe aims to make your workout fun, effective and fast! Her most popular video is considered a “fit challenge”, “Get abs in 2 weeks”. Chloe Ting workouts are great for students who don’t have a gym close and can be done in groups! Be sure to grab your friends and try out a Chloe Ting workout this week! https://www.youtube.com/c/ChloeTing

2. Ty Landrum

Ty is our all-time favorite instructor on YouTube, he focuses on Pilates and yoga. Which is a completely different style workout compared to Chloe’s. The fun part of Ty’s workouts is that they are never the same workout twice which makes you want to keep checking out his channel. He also films in serene places that make you feel centered during your workout. Ty’s workouts typically last anywhere from 45 minutes to an hour. This type of workout we wouldn’t recommend completing with a friend as it should be a time to reflect alone. Be sure to light a candle and check out Ty’s channel. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1VbXMhBxki_ZlBNiVW1DCg

3. MadFit

MadFit’s slogan is “Feel the difference” and after her workouts you will! MadFit’s workouts are like Chloe Ting these can be easily done in your dorm, apartment or home as well. Workouts typically last anywhere from 5 to 30 minutes which gives you the ability to choose a workout that fits the timeframe you need. MadFit has a YouTube channel but also has just released an app. Mad is one of the only creators that has her content on app, and it makes it convenient for you to complete your workout on the go if you don’t have access to YouTube at that time. Take some time to enjoy a fast workout with Mad this week! https://www.youtube.com/c/MadFit/videos
