Streaming can be hard, but University of Alabama student Jack Mulkerne recently created a video to show new streamers how to start up Streamlabs OBS. Streamlabs OBS is a free and open-source streaming software that is based on a fork of OBS and employs Electron for user interface. Streamlabs distributes their user’s content over platforms such as Twitch, YouTube Live, and Facebook Live.
This is my first time using Streamlabs OBS, and I’m going to keep it a buck with you guys, this stuff is hard to use, at least in my experience. Nobody else has had the issues that I have had using this software. Now, I am not saying this is a terrible software to use by any means, but if you have little to no experience with streaming you will struggle. Fortunately for people like me, Mulkerne has made this video to help us out.
Since I have started to stream, I have been streaming FIFA 22. When a new FIFA comes out, I usually get pretty excited. This is honestly the first year I can truly say that FIFA lived up to my expectations. Luckily, this game was released the same day that I would be starting my stream. Through Twitch and Streamlabs OBS, viewers have been able to keep up with the rise of my created player on his journey from small Premier League club, Aston Villa.
