The Masters is one of the most prestigious golf tournaments, played annually at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia, USA. Each year, only the best players are qualified to compete in this tournament, and 2023 is no exception. We will be discussing who to watch in the tournament and who is projected to win it all. All moneyline projections were provided by Caesars Sportsbook.

Scottie Scheffler (+500)

The 26-year-old defending champion is considered to be the No. 1 player in the world currently. Won the tournament last year with a -10 score and has recently been on a roll this past tour. His performance this past March was rather impressive, with him landing in the top four in his last five starts. He excelled in The PLAYERS Championship shooting 17 under to win the tournament last March. He stands as the top favorite to win this year’s Master’s tournament.

Dustin Johnson (+2800)

The former Masters champion known for his powerful and accurate shots, won the 2020 Masters and has since continued to perform consistently, making him one of the top contenders for this year’s tournament.

Jon Rahm (+900)

The Spaniard has consistently performed well in several major golf tournaments, including The Masters. He held the world number one ranking in 2020 and has since remained a top-5 player on the circuit. It’s highly likely that he’ll be in contention at this year’s tournament.

Justin Thomas (+2200)

The Alabama Alumni has been highly successful in his career so far, winning a number of titles including the PGA Championship in 2017. He has also performed well in Masters tournaments, finishing 4th in 2019 and 12th in 2020. He has the ability to outshine his competitors and is certainly one to watch for in this year’s tournament.

Rory McIlroy (+750)

As the second favorite to win the tournament, the Northern Irishman has won a number of major titles, including the PGA Championship, The Open Championship, and the US Open. He has performed well in The Masters in the past, finishing in the top 10 several times. While McIlroy has struggled with form and consistency in recent seasons, he cannot be counted out and he will be determined to add an elusive green jacket to his collection.

Tiger Woods (+6500)

Did you really think we weren’t going to mention the G.O.A.T. on this list? The numbers speak for themselves. 82 PGA Tour career victories, 18 majors won, 7 consecutive PGA Tour wins, and the lowest actual scoring average of 68.17. Tiger is one of the greatest golfers to play the game and with him playing in this year’s Masters he must be considered to win the tournament. Yes, his projections are low, but he’s always someone to keep a close eye on.

In conclusion, watching The Masters 2023 will be exciting, given the caliber of golfers set to compete. These five players have the skill, experience, and drive to win the tournament, but only time will tell who will emerge as the victor.
