For this week’s upcoming Get Ready With Me stream, I thought I would take a dive into my makeup bag and give a tour of all of my favorite products! I definitely have an even mix of products that have been ‘best sellers’ or ones that people have said I had to try and then some that Ive used for years.
Skincare:
Before I apply any makeup products, I always start with a hydrating skincare base. As of recently, I have been loving the Merit Great Skin Instant Glow Serum and the Drunk Elephant B-Hydra Intensive Hydration Serum. I prefer my skin to be very dewy before so my makeup sits better. Before I apply those serums, I wash my face with the EltaMD Foaming Facial Cleanser and use the highly coveted Glow Recipe Watermelon Glow Toner. Although everyone’s skin is different, I’ve found this base is what works best for me!
Base Makeup:
I have never been a huge fan of heavy makeup because I don’t love the way it feels on my skin so I tend to keep my base pretty light. I always start with both the Drunk Elephant B-Goldi and D-Bronzi drops that I mix with my EltaMD sunscreen. I’ve found the sunscreens consistency blends the best with the drops. Afterwards I use the Refy and Milk primers. I haven’t decided which one I like better yet! For a foundation, I use the Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter.
Eye Makeup:
My favorite part of my makeup bag is all of my eye products! I am absolutely obsessed with the Charlotte Tilbury Eyes To Mesmerize Cream Eyeshadow and the colors “Chocolate Bronze” and “Oyster Pearl” are my go to options. Underneath the cream products, I like to use the Makeup By Mario Master Mattes palette or the Urban Decay Naked Reloaded palette. For mascara I stick to the L’Oreal Lash Paradise and the Benefit Roller Lash. Lastly, you will NEVER see me without the Make Up For Ever Aqua Resist Color Pencil in shade 1- Graphite.

To assist in preventing breakouts, oil control, and a clean canvas I wash my face before beginning my makeup routine.
CeraVe Moisturizer
To begin the getting ready process, well-moisturized skin provides a smoother surface for makeup application. This moisturizer has always been a favorite of mine – it doesn’t clog my pores, it’s inexpensive, and moisturizes so well.
Elf Primer Putty
For creating a barrier between my skin and the makeup I use this primer. It can help makeup adhere better to the skin, prolonging its wear and preventing it from settling into fine lines. This product is sold everywhere and lasts for so long.
Base Makeup:
Laura Mercier Real Flawless Weightless Foundation
The perfect foundation for evening my skin tone, covering up any redness, discoloration,
or unevenness on the skin. This creates a smooth canvas for the rest of the makeup application. This foundation doesn’t feel heavy on my skin and is low coverage while still concealing any imperfections.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
This covers and conceals so well with a wide range of shades to match your skin
perfectly. It’s lightweight enough to use with no base for quickly covering dark circles or
with a full face to brighten under my eyes and cover blemishes.
Fenty Beauty Contour Stick
For Bronzing and shaping I use this product to define and enhance the natural structure of my face by creating shadows and highlights.
Rare Beauty Liquid Blush
Using all liquid products I think consistency creates a blended look! This blush lasts so long and the brand has a wide range of shades for every skin tone.
Eyes:
Urban Decay 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil
I never leave for an event without eyeliner! This pencil has easy application and will
last for the whole day without smudging.
Bad Girl Bang Mascara
To highlight my eyes and keep my eyelashes curled I rely on this mascara! I’ve been
loyal to this brand since I was in the 10th grade and I consistently re-purchase this product.
