Welcome back to Reali-TEA Recap where we discuss all things pop culture and drama! This week in our blog we are going to deep dive into the most recent episode of Vanderpump Villa! I am fully here for all the drama that will be ahead of us this season, but like LISA! PLS GET YOUR WORKERS’ ACTS TOGETHER! I’ll save my complaining for later, so let’s get into all the action!
The episode starts off with last week’s guests and their party. The annoying event manager, Eric, who I want to actually put in time out decides to strip and give a lap dance to the guest of honor. YIKES….
Honestly the whole staff is a clusterf**k. We have Marciano jumping into the pool with just his underwear on in front of all the guests, and our dear sweet Telly blessing out her boss for being 10 min late to work. Keep in mind….. all the staff live on the property of their workplace…
I know Lisa Vanderpump was trying to create a good reality show with lots of drama but this group makes me have a headache after every episode. Like Lisa, honey, what are you doing. I swear these people in no way have any professional skills and honestly they are ANNOYING.
Also this staff are all bullies and can not hold themselves or each other accountable. Telly blew up on Eric for drinking out of the bottle WHEN HE IS OFF WORK, but yet she drinks when she is on shift?? Make that make sense, babe.
Okay, Okay. Sorry y’all…. I’ll be done complaining now. (well, I’ll be done until I get annoyed again).
The morning after all of this madness, Lisa is gifted a pink knitted beret from the guests as a thank you, and all I know is that Lisa is donating that thing to Goodwill immediately. They all sit together and review the comment card to see how the guests liked their experience. Of course, Eric gets praise because he was doing the absolute most (honestly too much) to make sure that he was noticed.
Of course, Telly has to clap back and get mad that Eric is getting praise!! She says that Lisa Vanderpump is condoning Eric’s poor and outlandish behavior by praising him. Yes, I know his actions were crazy but the guest’s enjoyed it so keep on doing your thing Eric, and remember Telly the guest is ALWAYS right!
I also want to harp on the fact of respecting your elders and people who hold positions over you. Telly is very disrespectful, and that is not going to get her anywhere! She yelled at her boss and kept calling him “babe” in a sarcastic tone. She can yell it from the rooftops that she doesn’t like Eric, but that is not going to change the fact that he is STILL her boss!
Telly pulls Lisa aside and complains that Eric is continually “poking and poking and poking at her.” When she says this I was taken aback because like he’s telling you to do your job! That’s called supervising and managing your staff! Lisa tells Telly like it is, and I’M OBSESSED!! She tells her she can leave if wants, and doesn’t pay any attention to the drama.
I’m really am not trying to be anti-Telly. I know Eric isn’t perfect by any means, but he is her manager and is owed some respect. In the same breath, he also needs to be respectful to the people he is managing.
The next group that comes in is a bachelorette party, and obviously the boys think they should be the party starters. Eric and Marciano see this as Magic Mike. Like they wanna go full shots, strip, and all. These boys need to read the dang room because this is NOT the vibe of this trip. I mean the bride to be fully brought her fiancé with her!!
This doesn’t stop the boys as they are the first ones at dinner and are pouring shots down these poor guests throats. The chef gets so so angry because the food that he is preparing is tbh wayyy to nice to be served by people who are acting like animals.
Dumb and Dumber (Eric and Marciano) crash the guests’ chill pool day by popping champagne and forcing shots once again… meanwhile a guest is fully trying to enjoy a massage. And I’m gonna say this for the people in the back… FORCED FUN IS NOT FUN! This is the guests vacation, so let them do what they want to do.
Later that night, the producers give Brett a set of questions they can all talk about which obviously leads to more drama. Marciano gets the question that asks “who doesn’t deserve to be here,” and he says the head chef Anthony. This infuriates Caroline, the sous chef, and tells him that if the chef can and is working for 16 hours a day why isn’t he. BOOM ROASTED!!
Our queen Grace gets a crack later on at Marciano which has me rolling on the floor. She tells him “I think you’re arrogant, I think you’re an a-hole, and I think you comment about the chefs was disgusting.” I think Grace needed a mic to drop because she deserves all the praise! Eventually security has to keep them apart so they don’t get too crazy!
Whew! I’m truly out of breath after this episode. Can y’all believe that was only a singular TWENTY min episode, yeah me either!! We will keep updating as this season continues!
Will there be a season 2… tbh I doubt it! I prefer Below Deck!
Talk to y’all next week! Muah! <3
