In an effort to stay out of the weeds that are computer gaming, I will just touch on highlights of getting into PC gaming. [/ohio_text]
- Does not require a new console every few years. Most PC parts will not require a replacement for many years unless they are not maintained as they should. (I just upgraded my PC for the first time in 7 years.
- 1,000+ games to choose from.
- Customizable.
- Useful for more than just gaming.

- Pre-built computers can range from around $500-$3000 easily.
- Custom built computers can get as low as $500 and as high as $5000.
- Custom builds can be customized, allowing you to choose exactly what goes into your build. This allows you to save money on parts that you can cheap-out on.
- Pre-builds are nice because you are not required to learn how to put them together, allowing for a plug-and-play design.

- Expensive to start out on.
- Hard to fit in a small room (especially if running dual monitors like myself)
[/ohio_text]
- Sadly, performance comes down to how much you want to spend on a computer.
- Running an Intel i3 with a GTX 960 will get you barely anywhere on many big games. Spending the extra money can mean that you don’t have to drop another $800 down the road just to get a few better parts.
