The Alabama Crimson Tide have proven themselves this year by continuing to win games that matter most. At the beginning of the season many fans were not sure about the Tide. They have really started to prove themselves. Alabama Football started this season 1-1 suffering a loss from the Texas Longhorns. Although it has been a tough loss for the Tide, it began a streak and fueled a fire in them. Since the loss, Alabama has gone on a win streak and proven their talents against bitter rivals.
Redemption Games
Last year Alabama suffered losses from bitter rival Tennessee and LSU. Both losses were suffered in a last second attempt to knock off the Tide. This year, Alabama has turned themselves around and proven themselves against both of these bitter rivals. During both games Alabama did have homefield advantage which gave them the upper hand that was needed. With these two wins under their belt, they have proven that they can withstand competition at any level.
Playoff Potential
Crimson Tide fans are pleased with this season, but the biggest question is whether or not the Tide will make the College Football Playoffs. Although they have only suffered one loss this season, there are still five undefeated teams ahead of them and a few others. Fans are trying to be optimistic as the season wraps up, but they can’t help to worry about this lingering thought in their heads. With the season closing quickly Alabama will need to continue to dominate and ultimately win out in the SEC championship to potentially have a spot in the playoffs.
Top Dawgs
The SEC has always been dominate in the past decade or so in the playoffs. The team dominating was the Crimson Tide, but the Georgia Bulldogs have recently taken that spotlight. If Alabama clinches the SEC west, then there’s a good possibility that they will play Georgia in the SEC championship. Many college football fans would love to see a game of this caliber being played on such a big level. This also makes the hype all the more exciting since these teams never meet in the regular season.
Resume Building
Alabama plays Kentucky on the road next weekend and with a win there they clinch the west. Last season it did not end as one would’ve hoped for the Crimson Tide. This is the season to potentially reclaim what is theirs. With an SEC championship win, Alabama will be back in the college football playoffs easily. The rest of the season does not look like it will be much of a challenge, but any team can win on any given Saturday. A one loss Nick Saban team is dangerous because they have everything on the line each game and will be careful to risk anything to get the win.
Milroe’s Madness
Jalen Milroe may have not gotten the support of fans at the beginning of the season, but now all that has changed. Milroe’s athleticism and leadership (this past weekend against LSU) ignited a flame in the Crimson Tide that they needed. The fans back Milroe up now because he has gained their respect. During the LSU game, Milroe didn’t have one passing touchdown, but instead scrambled and rushed for all of his 4 touchdowns. He exemplified what it meant to be a leader and what it looks like to play Alabama football at a high standard.
Iron Bowl
Nick Saban is pleased with the performance of his team this past weekend. They still have a lot to prepare for before post season, but it is one week at a time. If this team can remain healthy then they can potentially begin their race for the playoffs. The last big challenge for Alabama moving forward is the Iron bowl. This game is considered a bowl game in itself and will always be one of the Crimson Tide’s trickiest games. Although Auburn has not proven themselves this year, this game can still go down to the wire.
In State Rivalry
The Iron bowl is always played at the end of the season between Alabama and Auburn. This game is important and a vital one to win for the Crimson Tide, but the Tigers have nothing to lose. This game is always exciting because Auburn’s mission is to take Alabama out of any playoff potential. The Iron Bowl is also typically one of the biggest weekends in the state of Alabama. The rivalry, division, and history this game has brought fans and citizens of the state is compared to no other.
Miracles In Jordan Hare
Nick Saban has a good team this year, but anything can happen in Jordan Hare Stadium. If we recall two years ago, Alabama barely escaped with a win in what took four overtimes to decide. This game will be an exciting one to wrap up the season and a must win for the Crimson Tide if they want any hope of the playoffs. Alabama’s performance will determine the outlook of the rest of the season. These will be big wins to put on their resume if they can defeat Auburn and Kentucky. With the SEC championship followed shortly after the regular season, the Crimson Tide will want to keep confidence, leadership, and chemistry high as they will most likely face the Bulldogs.
Georgia’s Dominance
           Anything is possible for Alabama football, and they can potentially silence the negative speculation with a strong end to the season. Fans are optimistic but are also very unsure of what is ahead. Georgia is currently on a 26-game win streak which makes opposing teams quite apprehensive to play the Dawgs. Georgia is led by head coach Kirby Smart who previously worked under Nick Saban and the Crimson tide before taking that coaching job. Smart and his extremely talented Georgia football team look to dominate the rest of the season. They wrap up with games against Ole Miss, Tennessee, and Georgia Tech. The two biggest challenges ahead for them are the next two games against the Rebels and the Vols.
Snapping Win Streaks
Fans of the Crimson Tide are hopeful to see Georgia’s win streak potentially get snapped by either them or in their last 3 games. Alabama fans haven’t seen a title in Tuscaloosa in quite some time. It has been since the 2020-2021 football season that Alabama football has last rose to the top. They lost the following season after and haven’t made the playoffs since the 2021-2022 season. They were eliminated last year by suffering 2 losses that were both on the road against talented opponents.
1 Loss Potential
The Crimson Tide cannot afford to suffer another loss this season so finishing strong will be important if they want to potentially ring chase for Title Town. Only time will tell what will occur at the end of the season. Until then, Alabama fans will eagerly root for their team to win out this season and have success following the regular season. The college football playoff committee will be the ultimate deciding factor on which teams are in for a race at the national championship. The question will remain until the end of the season on if Alabama can push through and potentially secure a spot despite having one loss.
