It is located in Jordan Village near resorts like Sapphire Beach Club, Adonis Cupecoy, and Hilton Vacation Club Flamingo Beach St. Maarten. With the market being within walking distance to many highly rated hotels, parents will avoid having to pay for an uber or cab to get groceries. Also, going out to eat every meal with kids can be very hectic, so being more resourceful with groceries could be a huge money and time saver. Adding convenience into a trip can save a lot of headache for a more enjoyable and stress-free trip. When traveling with kids, safety is always a number one priority. Sint Maarten is known and loved for its bar scene, but that doesn’t always have to mean intense clubbing until 3 in the morning. The island has many beach bars that can guarantee a good time but also a relaxing and laid back vibe. One of our favorite bars that is family friendly but also fun for just adults was Sunset Beach Bar. It is conveniently located right next to the airport to provide an amazing view of the airplanes arriving or departing from Sint Maarten. Additionally, Sunset Beach Bar is on Maho Beach, a popular spot with clear waters, white sand, and most popularly being known as the beach where people can almost touch planes as they are landing. Sunset Beach Bar has a wide array of food and drink choices to suit anyone’s taste. The bar also sells tall novelty cups that you can purchase and bring back for a refill. With Sunset Beach Bar being a more relaxed bar and restaurant, it is the perfect location for families to enjoy a meal together, or for parents to enjoy time alone with some amazing drinks.
Children Activities:
There are plenty of things to do for children on the island. One of the best hotspots is the Rhino Safari, and no, not actual rhinos. Journey along Sint Maarten’s coastline in your very own watercraft, or as it’s called, rhino. The rhinos are sturdy, safe, and impossible to tip over, which is perfect for children. A guide will be with you every step of the way as you venture through the water. There are breaks throughout the tour where you will get to snorkel and swim around the island in the clearest water, making it so easy to look out for different types of fish. The best part is the race back, where you get to go as fast as you can, passing anyone and everyone, except the guide of course. All throughout this amazing excursion there is someone taking pictures of your crazy adventures, which are available to purchase when you return. The watercraft may seem intense, but a guide will give you instructions before getting on the rhino, making sure you know how to use the craft and know the hand signals.
