2024 Trending Beauty product dupes

2024 Top Trending beauty Products and the Best Dupes on the Market

Share

Every year a select handful of high end beauty products are always trending, especially with the rise of social media. It seems like every Tik Tok or Instagram post that is posted is telling me to buy this or get that or that this is a holy grail, cannot live without product. And quite frankly, that’s just not true, especially when they are almost always $50 plus! So today, Ill be discussing all of the top trending beauty products right now, and finding you dupes to help you achieve the same look for less

huas labs foundation

First up is the Huas labs Triclone skin tech medium coverage foundation by Lady Gaga. This foundation has 51 shades and comes in $45 dollars. According to their website, its “An award-winning, medium buildable coverage, high-performance, clean foundation infused with our proprietary fermented arnica that helps reduce redness, helps even skin tone and protects from environmental stress. Suitable for all skin types including sensitive and acne-prone.”

Before, I get into the dupes with this one, I will say this is a product that most people claim to not have a dupe. However, a product does not need to work or feel exactly the same to achieve the same look or goal. Ultimately, every makeup product works different on everyone, so what may be a dupe for you may not be for other people. Test different products and find out what works best for you!

Dupes:             Nudestix Tinted Cover Skin Tint Foundation

The first dupe is the nudestix tinted cover skin tint foundation. This foundation comes in at $38, so its not much of a price break. It also is severely lacking in the shade range department. So this would be a good option for some, but not for all.

Makeup Forever HD Skin Undetectable Longwear Foundation

Next up, this foundation comes in at $48. So it is actually more expensive than the huas labs, however, it’s a good alternative if the huas labs is your go to foundation and you can’t find your shade. with 40 shades this foundation will have something for just about everyone.

No-Sebum Powder Cushion SPF 29 PA++

Next up, this foundation comes in at $22 so a much more affordable price point, AND it has SPF. However, a major downside is that it only comes in 5 colors, so finding your shade is going to be very difficult and unfortunately this foundation isn’t usable for a lot of people.

Rare beauty blush

According to the website, the Rare beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blush by Selena Gomez is “A weightless, long-lasting liquid blush that blends and builds beautifully for a soft, healthy flush. Available in both matte and dewy finishes.” This product comes in 13 shades and at $23. So in my opinion, it is already pretty accessible, but we will go over some dupes any ways.

            Dupes: Makeup revolution Blush Bomb

Coming in at $8 in 5 shades, people say this is the best “exact” dupe for the rare beauty blush. Even with the limited shade range, you cannot beat how accessible the price point is.

                        Elf camo blush

Next is the elf camo blush. ELF is so quick to come up with a. dupe for any and every trending makeup product. At $7 and in 9 shades. The elf camo liquid blush is another extremely close dupe to the Rare beauty and its price point and shade range makes it almost admissible in the ways it lacks.

                        Flower beauty blush bomb

Next is the flower beauty blush bomb. At around $12 and 7 shades, this product is not the best dupe on the market, but like I said earlier. Play around and see what works best for you!

Charlotte tilbury contour wand

Now for the ever famous, Charlotte Tilburry Hollywood effect contour wand. Coming ins at $42 and in only two shades, I am confident that the only reason this product was so popular for so long is because it was the only on like it. Here is what Charlotte has to say about her product “Darlings, my Hollywood Contour Wand in Light to Medium is the perfect lightweight, blendable, buildable formula to create a well-contoured face. Swipe onto the hollows of the cheeks for an INSTANT HOLLYWOOD EFFECT!”

            Dupe: Elf halo glow wand

The elf halo glow beauty wand is the best dupe on the market. At $9 and in 5 shades, it is much more accessible than its previously mentioned counter part.

Revolution Pro Goddess Glow Cream Contour and Bronze

This is another affordable option at less than $7, however right now, they are only offering one shade.

                        Tarte Contour Wand

Finally, is the tarte Sculpt Tape contour wand. At $36 it is not much of a price break. However, they do offer 11 shades, which is the largest range out of the 4 products. So, what they lack in affordability, they make up for in being an option for people of all skin tones.

Tarte Marcuja Juciy Lip

Next up is the Tarte Marcuja Juicy lip. Here is why Tarte says they love it,

  • “Cushion Comfort Complex instantly plumps the appearance of lips & smooths the look of lip lines
  • maracuja drenches lips in moisture
  • 10+ antioxidant-rich fruits smooth & nourish
  • mirror-shine formula feels ultra comfortable
  • click-up packaging keeps formula clean & pristine
  • cushiony formula without petrolatum or lanolin
  • Smells like coconut!
  • vegan & cruelty-free”

and personally I agree. At $26 and 16 shades, I think this product is organically pretty accessible.  I think this product is hard to come by and hasn’t really gotten and good dupe yet. But there are a few options out there.

Dupes: ELF pout clout lip plumping pen

At $8 and in 8 shades, you cant really complain about the accessibility, however for a lip product, I like to see a bit of a broader shade range.

                        Wet and wild comforting lip

Again, for under $6 you really cant complain with this product. However, the shade range is lacking. And tons of people say that they can not stand the way it smells.

Nyx professional slick click lip balm

According to their website, “Lips on slick in just a click! Our pigmented balm in click up packaging that dispenses just the right amount of formula, all you gotta do is click it to slick it! Get a fat boost of fat care for your lips with this vegan formula powered with avocado, cloudberry and raspberry oils. This lightweight, buildable balmy formula provides 12hr hydration for all day ultra-comfortable wear and care! Slick so addicting you wanna keep clickin! Available in 12 shades to click from with light as air pigments for a flush of color with a non-sticky, high-shine finish, perfect for everyday wear!” This is the closest dupe to the Tarte one on the market. At around $12 dollars and available in $12 shades, I think this product does what the marcuja does, while still making it more accessible.

Wrapping it up…

In conclusion, a lot of times when we purchase these high-end makeup products, what we’re really doing is purchasing the name and the packaging. Only every soften is there a product that is actually one-of-a-kind in the huge makeup industry. Again, while typically dupes are sought after for being the exact formula and product as a high end but at a much cheaper price point, I don’t think that is the only way we should think of them. There are tons of products that are dupes for trending makeup products, that get overlooked because ethe applicator isn’t the same of because it’s a powder instead of a liquid when the end result looks exactly the same. Everyone’s skin, preferences and wallet are different. So, try things out for yourself before you jump to any conclusions about which products are good or not. Everyone reacts differently to every product, so personally I like to get the drug store stuff in case I don’t end up liking it. But at the end of the day, makeup is like fashion, do what you want, and you’ll look good doing it!
